A Bitter sweet "Goodbye" and yet an AWESOME "Hello"

Some of you may know that D.C.R/C has kind of fallen in the outs.  We no longer have our bi-weekly races, the NAPA Off Road track has been flattened and the on road races are no more.  So you ask why do I have this site, well in short, I PAY FOR IT.  That being said, I will clue you in to the purpose of this place, but first let me enlighten you on what has happened to the founders of D.C.R/C

I, Anthony Powell, have moved to Michigan to take on a better paying and more exciting job of answering the phone and helping computer challenged people with there computing problems.  Michael has since taken a new and more fulfilling job with Folley Cat.  I hear, from him of course, that he enjoys it allot. Tommy, good old " I will help anyone" Phelps;  Well he has taken a slight curve which some of you may have not expected.  He is no longer working for the Right COOP.  He is now selling jewelry under he wife Becky.  Guess he finally realized who his real boss was!

Ok so now that you know what we are all doing I will tell you the purpose of this new site.  I of course miss all the fast paced R/C action that I was a costumed to in Dodge city, and well I have all these photos and what not, so I decided I would put this place to good use and build a "Remember D.C.R/C" web site.  I am going to post photos and different D.C.R/C related info here and hopefully get some of you to send me you photos as well so we can post them.  Although I am not there in Dodge to get D.C.R/C back up and going again, I can do my part by allowing the club to rebuild its self through this site.  No that doesn't mean we are GOING to have races again, but I did here that Mike Walker and his buddies in Garden City have a fairly nice off road track you might see on here.

So that being said, please e-mail me your photos and stories revolving around D.C.R/C and the R/C sport in general.  I hope this fills the gap that you have been missing as I know it will mine.

Thanks to anyone who made me feel at home in Kansas especially both Phelps family's, the Rains family, and the Thomas Family.
